Inspiring professionals: House of Hackney

House of Hackney was created by a husband and wife duo who had had a previous experience in fashion and product design. Frieda Gormley and Javvy M Royle founded their label in London in 2011 and grew to become a very successful luxury interiors label. They have been creating patterns for all sorts of homeware objects like: wallpapers, curtains, rugs, carpers, upholstery, lamp shades etc.

They offer interior design advice and work on interior design comission. They have recently opened an exclusive B&B at Trematon Castle in Cornwall, which is fully transformed by products of their design.

I am inspired by the boldness of their creations and nubmer of avenues a pattern can lead to.
