Becca studied Art&Design with Fashion&Textiles at college and then Graphic Design in Manchester. She is Based in her home town of Burnley in Lancashire.
The artist designs her ornamental patterns for fabric, homeware, accessories and as art prints:

It's a way of designing I'm drawn to as well. Drawing and painting with pens/paint and then taking images into digital phase. I am also thinking of learning to draw digitally form the beginning, but don't want to spend too much time in front of computer, so would definitely keep it as a small part of my practice.
Becca's beautiful work is very linear and full of colour. I would like to focus more on painterly shapes, which play with value more, rather than lines. I love the visual feel of paint's consistency and texture.
Becca has her online shop and works on commissions, which she normally gets through instagram.
When I'm ready with my designs, I would like to set up a webpage for them. I would then research materials to print on, and eventually open an online shop, and create social media accounts to accompany it(instagram, facebook).
It is interesting for me to watch how she approaches creating her natural forms- how she renders shapes and colours. Here are some more of her designs and close ups that will serve me as a reference for visual problem solving:
