Quick self portraits

I have started painting self portraits as a way of cleaning my palettes(!)

It gave me joy so I decided to continue all the way through making my floral pattern.

They started off as messy and awkward, full of wobbly, happy lines:)

Painting normally took around 15 min, but then I found it hard to stop and would add more once the paint was dry.

It feels liberating to be careless (but not too careless) to just practice, but without pressure of obtaining a great result.
