Digital phase begins!

I scanned and cut out all my images. I started imaging them on a dark, navy blue background and played around with colour alterations:

When I was editing this flower I used a selection tool which made contours of the shape and random dots in a background twinkle. I really liked this effect and thought I could emulate it through a gold leaf technique on my second version of wallpaper and possibly on hung elements for the installation. I had already tried it thinking that I might use it for the pattern:

I then looked into more colour blending options:
These unreal colour combinations made me think of altering patterns I will come up with towards 'night rave vibe'. I have always loved big installations made for festivals, especially the ones Shambala festival comes up with for their woodland area. It is a big space with illuminated installations, which lead you to an area amongst trees where djs are set up. It is very colourful and full of beautiful decorations-hung on trees and set up on the ground. Listening to music and dancing there have been definitely one of very magical experiences for me.
I also looked at a drawing I made for laser print to see if I could incorporate this kind of mark making. I manipulated it a little and saw a potential there. I would like to draw more florals this way in the future.
At this point I started to bring elements together and move towards pattern:
