Beginnings and dead ends

I have been experimenting more with quick sketches. Pink and blue ones came were fun to do, but not satisfying as an outcome. I was going to do more attempts to reduce the number of brushstrokes and get more of an ease feel to them.

I changed colours and did less strokes, but they weren't working still. Was going to add some details with pastels and see if that would be interesting.

Inspired by another exercise from the book, I played more with the same shapes. It looks like I have way more playing to do;)
